Privacy Policy
Plain-English summary. This page describes how we handle information collected through this website (id-resolution.com). It is separate from how we operate the identity-resolution platform itself, which is governed by a Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum signed by our customers.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by ID-Resolution.com (a brand of Net Results Consulting) through this website, including subdomains. It does not apply to:
- The identity graph and resolution services we sell to business customers, which are governed by individual customer contracts and our Data Processing Addendum.
- Third-party websites we link to.
2. Information we collect on this website
We try to collect the minimum information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the site.
Information you provide directly
- Account / billing when you sign up via our pricing tables (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).
- Communications if you email us, request a demo, or fill out a form: name, work email, company, message.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, referring page, request path, response code, timestamps. Used for security and abuse prevention.
- Analytics events (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) — only after consent. See the Cookie Policy.
- Marketing pixel (Sitelytics / Delivr.ai) — only after consent.
What we don't collect on this website
- Special-category personal data (health, biometrics, sexual orientation, religion, etc.).
- Information about minors.
3. How we use it
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To respond to inquiries and provide support.
- To process payments (via Stripe) and manage subscriptions.
- To measure marketing effectiveness (only with consent).
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for strictly necessary site function, and — only with your consent — for analytics and marketing. See the dedicated Cookie Policy for the full list, retention periods, and how to change your choices at any time.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of "sale" and "sharing" for advertising purposes.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We share information only with:
- Service providers bound by contract: Stripe (payments), Google (analytics), Microsoft (Clarity session analytics), Sitelytics/Delivr.ai (advertising), Cookiebot (consent management), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS/CDN where applicable).
- Affiliates within the Net Results Consulting suite of brands, where necessary for the services described above.
- Government or law enforcement, when legally compelled.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; we will notify you and give you choices where required by law.
We do not sell personal information collected through this website in the conventional sense, but California's CCPA/CPRA defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly to include cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your right to opt out, see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
6. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:
- Consent — for analytics and marketing cookies.
- Contract — to provide services you request (e.g. account creation, billing).
- Legitimate interests — for security, fraud prevention, and basic site operation, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where required by law.
7. Rights — GDPR / UK GDPR
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, email jessica@freedom-project.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Rights — CCPA / CPRA and U.S. state privacy laws
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete personal information.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising (see Do Not Sell or Share).
- Limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny services or charge different prices for exercising these rights.
To submit a verifiable consumer request, email jessica@freedom-project.com. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with written authorization.
9. International data transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access this website from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other valid transfer mechanisms.
10. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:
- Server logs: typically up to 90 days.
- Account and billing records: for the life of the relationship plus 7 years for tax and audit purposes.
- Analytics data: per Google Analytics retention settings (currently 14 months).
- Consent records: at least 12 months from your most recent action.
11. Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest where appropriate, role-based access, and regular reviews. We are SOC 2 Type II audited at the platform level. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
12. Children
This website is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or notified by email where appropriate.
